BLOOD DONATION CAMP
AT HOLY CROSS CHURCH, NAVSARI
The Youth Group of Holy Cross Church, Navsari along with Caritas India and the able guidance of Fr. Robert Machado (Parish Priest) and Fr. Vincent Lobo organized a Blood Donation Camp in the Church Campus on 24th June 2012.
The Indian Red Cross Society came to collect the blood.
39 units of blood was collected from 39 generous persons who came willingly to donate blood. It was indeed a great act of Charity. Jesus shed His blood for us.....so therefore these persons walking in the footsteps of the Saviour gave their blood for others. Among the 39 were 35 male and 4 female donors.
This was indeed the first time a blood donation camp was organized. Hat off to all the youth of Navsari. God bless you for the good work.
