CONCLUDING CEREMONY
MOTHER EXPRESS

People from all walks of life gathered together on Platform No. 6 to bid adieu (Farewell) to the Mother Express on 2nd December at 

The dignitaries present were Mr. Saxena (Additional Division Railway Manager), Ms. Lily Pandey, Mahila Pramukh, Fr. William (Parish Priest of Rosary Cathedral), Sr. Sara Grace, Fathers, Sisters. 
  
  
The students of Kendriya Vidhyalaya, Baroda welcomed all those present with a song. The children of Don Bosoco Snehalaya gave a beautiful and heart rendering dance on "Mother" (Maa). Through their dance they brought back to our minds "The Mother of the Poorest of the Poor - Mother Teresa". The Kendriya Vidhyalaya children then sang a song on Mother Teresa. The Snehalaya children then again put up a fusion dance which was enjoyed by all.


After the cultural programme Rev. Fr. William Carvalho, the Parish Priest of Rosary Cathedral, on behalf of the Bishop of Baroda - Godfrey de Rosario and the people of Baroda presented a memento as a sign of gratitude and appreciation for the Mother express  to the DRM Officer Mr. Saxena and another memento to the train exhibition members.



Prizes were then distributed to all the students who participated in the various competitons held on the 1st and 2nd of December (Rangoli, Collage, Drawing and Slogan).



 Mr. Saxena then spoke a few words on the success of the event and said that the numbers of those who had visited the Mother Express rose above five digits. He thanked all those who were instrumental to make this event a success.
  
Sr. Sara Grace the Regional Superior of The Mother Teresa Congregation for Guajrat and Rajasthan thanked the Lord for the gift of Mother Teresa and spoke about her virtues and then with hands joined she thanked the Railway Personnel, Bishop of Baroda, all the children and people of Baroda and around who had come for the occasion and made the event a memorable one for all.  As a sign of gratitude to the Railway staff she presented a small token of gratitude.

  
At the end of the programme, the person behind the success of this wonderful event was Rev. Fr. Lester SDB, the director of Snehalaya came forward to express his gratitude to all who had joined him to make this event a grand success.
